Alfredo, a young Italian student, is cycling through the streets of a foreign city when he is caught in a thunderstorm. Seeking shelter, he is attracted by the strange call emanating from a porn cinema that seems to have emerged from another time. Guided by his fantasies, he finds himself trapped in a perverse game: an assassin eliminates the cinema's locked-in customers one by one. Soon, he's the only one left in the theater, a fragile moth caught in the web of a giant spider.

H?ro?nes, his first produced film, tells the story of Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore's mad resistance in Jersey in the 1940s. After the giallo La Vedova nera, he pursued his passion for genre films with an anticipation short film.
JULIAN MCKINNON
Julian McKinnon (Italy/UK, 1986) is a screenwriter based in Marseille. His collaborative work with French filmmaker and activist fiume challenges dominant representations of gender and agency through a subversive queer lens. Together, they traverse genres such as surrealism, vampire film, and Italian giallo. La Vedova nera is their second short film and Julian's directorial debut.
