After the apocalypse, “life” on the planet resumed again, but in a different form: the broken fragments of mechanisms achieved consciousnessand form, creating a new world. One of the steel fishes of the dead ocean somehow brings to life a real live egg. The steel fish embarks on a journey of wonder and true parental love. The mechanical steel fish nurtures the tiny live being and sacrifices its own life for its survival.
NATALYA KHARINA Natalya Kharina was born in 1966 in Moscow (Russia). In 1984 she graduated from the Moscow Art School at the Moscow State Art Institute. V. Surikova. In 1991, she graduated courses for animators at the Institute for Advanced Training of Television and Radio Broadcasting Workers. The work on creating animated films is the main direction of creative activity. As a production designer, she worked on animated films and TV series: ?Tales of the New Russia?, ?Funny Bears?, ?Interesting Facts?, ?Arkady Parovozov to the Rescue?, ?Magic Lantern?, ?Woods?, ?Galchonok?, ? ALENA RUBINSHTEINAlena Rubinshtein was born in 1984 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). She graduated from the P.P. Bentkov Art School, worked as an artist and designer. In 2008 she entered VGIK (Moscow) at the faculty of feature film directing under V.Yu. Abdrashitov. graduated from it in 2013. She has filmed several short and feature movies. The “Heart of the Ocean” is a first animated film by Alena.
