ROBSON DA SILVA CAVALCANTE

Robson Cavalcante is an animator and audiovisual director from the state of Alagoas, graduated in Music from the Federal University of Paraíba. He wrote and directed, together with Claudemir Silva, the short film "Trem Baiano", a documentary that won the awards for Best Artistic Contribution and Critical View at the VIII Mostra Sururu de Cinema Alagoano, in addition to the award for Best Script at the II Mostra SESC de Cinema (AL) . In 2023, with the animated short “Diafragma”, he received the awards for Best Film from the Official Jury and Popular Jury (Florianópolis Audiovisual Mercosul - SC), and the awards for Best Script and Best Sound (Arapiraca Film Festival - AL) . In 2022, he was awarded the Pedro da Rocha award, with the animation series project “Entre o Vale e a Floresta”. He is the founder and director of animation at Aqua Studio Desenvolvimento Criativo. Currently, he is working on the development of the series “Entre o Vale e a Floresta” and on the production of the animated short “Alerta Verde”, by João Paulo Procópio.
