Giovanna Castellari
Giovanna Castellari is a screenwriter, director, and editor, graduated in Cinema from FAAP, in São Paulo. She debuted her first short film, "Portaria," in 2022, at the São Paulo International Short Film Festival - Kinoforum. In 2023, she completed and now distributes her second short film and thesis work, "Cida Has Two Syllables." So far, "Cida Has Two Syllables" has had eight selections in festivals and has received eleven awards, including Best University Film (13th Circuito Penedo and 17th Curta Taquary), Best Direction (21st Curta Santos), Best Fiction (4th Liverpool John Moores University Short Film Festival), and Best Screenplay and Editing (17th Curta Taquary - University Showcase).
