Olivia, una chica transexual, prepara sus maletas para marchar al pueblo en vísperas de la festividad de San Juan. A través de una íntima conversación junto a su madre cuestionará las dudas que le atormentan ante la decisión de volver a encontrarse con sus amigos de la playa siendo por primera vez una chica.

FRAN EXPÓSITO

Fran Expósito (Seville, Spain, 2003). Trained in Performing Arts under the guidance of Esperanza Guardado, Pedro Casablanc, Maria Espejo and Jorge Cuadrelli, among others. Trained at the Madrid Film Institute with film director and producer Eduardo Cardoso. Granted a scholarship by the Treintaycinco Milímetros Audiovisual School where he studied Audiovisual Direction. After starring in major fiction projects in Spain, the young Sevillian is positioned behind the cameras participating in the direction, script and production departments of different internationally awarded audiovisual pieces such as "Un Rollo Más" or "5 Minutos", both by the Fontaniego filmmaker Pedro Verdún. In 2022 he directed his first short film "Aún Es Verano", premiered in San Francisco del Monte de Oro (San Luis, Argentina). At the beginning of 2023 he premiered his first feature-length documentary "Yo Soy Pablo", a charity project about the story of overcoming childhood cancer by the young Sevillian Pablo Mije. "Olivia" is the third project by the promising filmmaker from Seville, where he seeks to capture intimacy and doubts regarding gender identity within a rural setting.
