In 1967, 7-year-old Gia hears on the news that a young woman has defied social convention by running the Boston Marathon without permission. Her father's violent reaction and her mother's silence prompt Gia to unravel the mystery of this marathon lady.
Juliette Henry
After studying sociology and geography, Juliette Henry launched herself as a filmmaker in September 2022. She is today a screenwriter, director and assistant director.
Since then, she has made five short films with feminist themes.
Her latest is the film 261 which addresses gender inequalities in sport and the story of Kathrine Switzer.
In June 2023, she won the Feminist Short Festival at the Maison des Femmes de Montreuil.
